Attention Please! Department closures

Please note our chrome department will be closing for a summer break from the 4th – 18th August. Work received by 28th July will be returned as normal. Full service will resume 18th August.

Our crown and bridge department will also be closed from Monday 25th August to Friday 29th August, normal service resuming on Monday 1st September. Work received between 14th August and the 22nd August will be returned after 2nd September.

Steve Champion will be on annual leave from 1st August – 13th August, the laboratory will remain open but any work that you require him to carry out personally will be put on hold until he returns, this will be prioritised in the order that it arrives. The laboratory will remain open during this time.

I want to give my thanks to Steve and his team at ConfiDent Labs.

I started working with Steve on recommendation from a colleague.  Best decision!  His knowledge of All-on-4 cases is great, and he is very good technician.  I look forward to every case I do with Steve.

I met Steve and started using ConfiDent Labs about 3 years ago on a recommendation from my implant rep.
I had used many labs for immediately loaded implant prosthesis, but was never completely happy with the finesse of the work. I had a few problems, but was unaware of how to fix them.  It was evident on meeting Steve that his knowledge was vast. I feel that I learnt the technical side to a completely different level soon after we had completed a few cases.
He has tried everything, and over the years has selected what works well for both him and his clients.
Steve’s communication, and his availability to discuss anything - no matter how minor - is second to none, which takes a lot of stress away from me.  He has an in-depth knowledge of materials for every situation that work.

Steve’s cosmetics are unsurpassed, and he loves challenging cosmetic cases to get exactly what the patient and dentist want.  We’ve had a few cases where the racial gingival tints that he put in that were mind blowing.

Soon after using him for implant work, I tried out his denture work.  Again, this surprised me to the extent that I enjoyed receiving his denture cases because the fit and cosmetics were so predictable.  They renewed my faith in predictable, non- implant solutions.

I would whole heartedly recommend the lab to anyone interested in providing quality, high end work that makes both dentist and patients happy.

My father was my dental technician for 21 years until he retired. At that point I had to find a new technician to do my denture work. I am pleased to say that I found ConfiDent Labs in Canterbury, just around the corner from my surgery. Steve Champion and his team have been my denture technician’s since then.
